SafetyTector™ S brings essential user safety to rapid antigen tests. This extraction and dilution buffer inactivates COVID-19 in saliva specimens and nasopharyngeal swabs in immunoassays, preventing users from being infected by positive tests. The inactivation ability of SafetyTector™ S provides safety measures that have not been achieved by other virus-inactivating extraction buffers.
Magnetic silica beads are also an excellent tool for assay development. Magnetic silica beads have applications in separation, concentration and purification of biomolecules, and are well suited as a solid phase in assay kits.
